The LS588 UHP comes with a revolutionary year-round tread compound molded into an asymmetrical tread design that presents five ribs combined with lateral grooves designed to promote superior grip and powerful traction providing a quiet and comfortable ride experience. Due to the solid center rib, this tire promotes responsive handling and more road stability. Special tread design with wide shoulder tread blocks deliver more contact patch along with aggressive biting edges for maximum road adherence. The engineers use an all new “LS” Silica Compound to add additional tread flexibility when it comes to low weather temperatures, promoting improved rolling resistance for more fuel efficiency.
For safety reasons, this model has four wide circumferential grooves combined with lateral grooves that offer high aquaplaning resistance for more road stability and vehicle control in both wet and dry conditions.
