Michelin Alpin A4
This model is a Performance, studless winter tire designed for a wide range of passenger cars and minivans to deliver secure driving when it comes to cold, wet, and wintry conditions. The Michelin engineers use Green X standard to produce eco-friendly tires with low rolling resistance, reduced fuel consumption, and CO2 emission as well.
The Alpin A4 had advanced, full silica-based, sunflower oil-enriched Helio Compound molded into a symmetric tread pattern. Due to this compound, the tread remains flexible even in low temperatures for better traction in cold conditions. The tire has wide lateral grooves for better water and slush evacuation from under the tire footprint.
Michelin Alpin A4 has a special internal structure that features a two-ply rayon casing supporting two wide, steel belts to add more durability and strength. It also had low-hysteresis sidewall inserts developed to temporarily support the weight of the vehicle, in case of loss of air pressure.
This model is available from 14 to 17-inch sizes backed by a 30,000-mile tread life warranty. It was used as Original Equipment (OE) tires for Audi A6, Audi Q3, BMW 3 Series, BMW 5 Series, and some models from the Mercedes-Benz lineup.
