Michelin Latitude Alpin LA2
This model is a studless winter tire developed for owners of all-wheel-drive crossovers and SUVs. It was developed for people for whom the ride comfort, responsive handling, and wintertime traction are the main priorities. This tire comes with Michelin's Green X standard for low rolling resistance, to reduce vehicle fuel consumption and CO2 emissions.
Michelin Latitude Alpin LA2 has an advanced Helio Compound 3G molded into a directional tread pattern which presents a continuous center rib along with independent intermediate and shoulder blocks designed to provide stability on dry roads and increased hydroplaning resistance.
For safety reasons, the Latitude Alpin LA2 comes with wide tread grooves and an advanced tread block to ensure extra rigidity and responsive handling at higher speeds. This model is a result of computer-optimized design and unique manufacturing methods used to improve vibration and road noise.
Michelin uses a special internal structure that includes twin steel belts reinforced with spirally wound polyamide cord to support the tread, enhancing ride comfort. This model is available from 18 to 21-inch sizes backed by a 25,000-mile tread life warranty.
