Michelin XDE 2+
This model is an open shoulder drive tire engineered to provide superior traction, uniform wear, fuel efficiency, and more mileage. It is designed especially for line haul, regional and urban applications providing load safety, more stability, handling responsiveness, and extra miles without compromising fuel efficiency.
The XDE 2+ comes with an advanced application specific compound molded into a directional six-rib tread design that presents open shoulders designed to deliver high traction in all-weather conditions. Due to wide open shoulder grooves combined with a high density of lateral grooves the tire provides confident year-round traction. The tire stands out with its bridged center block design that maintains road stability for responsive handling.
For safety reasons, the Michelin XDE 2+ comes with a directional tread pattern that presents special tread grooves designed to provide high aquaplaning resistance by better water and slush dispersion from under the tire footprint, for better-wet braking performance and uniform wear. To maximize casing durability, and extra protection for working plies was added full-width elastic protector ply.
This model is available in 19.5-inch sizes, being one of the best drive tire options for a wide range of commercial vehicles used in freight transportation.
