This model is a durable all-terrain tire developed especially for light trucks and SUVs to provide off-road versatility, performance, but also a smooth and quiet ride.
The AT-5 comes with an all-new silica tread compound molded into an aggressive tread pattern that presents serrated-edged lugs and all-new shoulder blocks thought to promote superior traction in dirt, snow and mud, promoting quiet and comfortable driving experience. Due to the innovative shoulders with multiple biting edges this tire feels at home in off-road environments promoting exceptional traction even in winter conditions. Innovative center rib delivers responsive handling and more straight-line stability for controlled driving in winter conditions. Even though this model is an all-terrain tire model, it offers a comfortable and quiet ride.
For safety reasons, this model has numerous tread grooves engineered to increase the water, snow, slush, dirt evacuation from under the tire footprint for more contact with the road. The engineers use a durable rubber product focused on off-road performance, promoting long-lasting wear, uniform wear, and ride comfort.
Inside the tire we can find a heavy-duty internal carcass that presents double steel-belted construction designed to add more durability and strength for improved carrying characteristics. Nankang AT-5 Conqueror is produced in a wide range of sizes starting from 15 to 20-inch sizes, with T, R, and S-speed rating and up to 17/32” tread depth.
