In general, commercial winter tires handle the challenges of driving in harsh winter environments. To provide maximum traction and firm grip, these come with innovative tread patterns with special chemical compounds in the tread rubber for control in severe winter conditions. RoadX company is proud of the RD798 model.
RoadX RD798 is a premium winter tire developed for commercial use. This model shows high performance in freezing temperatures due to the latest tread compound, which makes the tread remain flexible. When a tire is flexible, it is able to accelerate and stop in a short time. In addition, an optimized tread design with independent central blocks increases the braking and traction on snow and icy surfaces. Thanks to special grooves and aggressive blocks the tire shows high resistance to stone retention, thus protecting the casing integrity.
It has a new tread compound molded into an extra deep up to 27/32nds tread pattern. On the other side, this model presents three zigzag transversal grooves coupled with open lateral grooves and full depth sipes. These components reduce the risk of hydroplaning by quick water, and snow dispersion from under the tire contact area.
Finally, RoadX RD798 is present on the market in 11R22.5 and 11R24.5 sizes. According to the customers’ feedback, this tire is one of the most trustworthy drive winter tire options for line haul trucks, regional trucks, P&D trucks, and refuse trucks.
