Sailun S622 EFT
It’s a premium trailer position tire developed to show high performance when it comes to rolling resistance, fuel usage, ride comfort, and load safety. It is designed to be fitted on tandem trailers or on tag axles.
The S622 EFT comes with a SmartWay verified tread compound molded into a symmetrical six-rib tread pattern to extend tire lifespan, reducing annual costs. Sailun engineers use a wide footprint for better pressure distribution promoting uniform wear. Continuous shoulders distribute weight and torque uniformly to reduce irregular wear. Due to V-sipes on ribs edges, this tire provides outstanding wear performance, good braking characteristics, and high fuel efficiency. To reduce CO2 emissions, the Sailun uses a specialized tread compound developed to promote low rolling resistance along with improved fuel efficiency on highways. This model competes with Michelin XT-1, Goodyear G316 LHT, and Bridgestone R197 Ecopia.
For safety reasons, this model has five deep, wide circumferential grooves that guarantee high aquaplaning resistance by better water and slush evacuation from under the tire contact patch, providing the best performance in wet weather conditions. Main groove stone ejector in the center of the tire protects the tire against stone retention/drilling. Thanks to durable casing construction this model offers increased casing performance in high-scrub applications, defending tire structure for additional mileage. The multi-rib pattern provides consistent handling and vehicle control, reducing rolling resistance but also promoting reliable control and lateral stability.
Sailun S622 EFT is available in 22.5, and 24.5-inch sizes, with 12/32, 14/32nds tread depth, being one of the best trailer position tire options for a wide range of commercial vehicles used in goods and people transportation, but also in construction applications.
