Bridgestone replaces the Duravis All Season tire with an upgraded version: Duravis All Season Evo. The latter comes with engineering improvements to maximize fleets' and van users' driving experiences.
The Bridgestone portfolio already includes other members in its Duravis Van line-up. It is about the Duravis Van winter and Duravis Van summer tires. The new EVO member completes this line-up and brings improvements in wet performance, fuel efficiency, and mileage compared to its predecessor. In addition, the new Duravis Van model is an EV-ready tire model, being a good option for those who prefer electric vehicles.
What's New With the New Duravis All Season Evo Van Tire?
Bridgestone obtained a significant improvement of 15% lower rolling resistance and 15% better mileage with the new product than the outgoing one. This is due to the Enliten technology created and developed by the manufacturer. Internal tests also show top-notch wet performance and full winter reliability thanks to 3PMSF certification.
The fresh Duravis All Season Evo is more resistant to abrasion thanks to a new specific polymer in its composition. In addition, the product targets to provide improved pattern stiffness and optimized content pressure distribution, as per Bridgestone.
The superior wet performance results from using a specialized filler type while the high volume slots in the tire shoulder make water drainage more efficient. Least, but not last, the high-snow tractability demonstrated by this model comes from adapting the tire's V-shaped layout.
As mentioned earlier, fuel/energy efficiency is a significant advantage of the new Duravis Evo tire. For this purpose, the manufacturer integrated a special polymer meant to cut off energy loss. In addition, the product has a sidewall protective rib that neutralizes the stress on the tire in curb collisions.
According to the press release offered by Bridgestone, the upgraded Duravis model meets the needs of fleets and van users most efficiently. These, being in search of durability, year-round performance, and robustness in their tires - can rely on Duravis Evo without compromise.
When To Expect The New Duravis Evo?
The market will see the new product available starting from January 2025. The new Duravis Evo line will be available in 24 sizes, starting with 15'' up to 17''. This will provide six high-load 10PR sizes inclusively.
