Lamborghini has chosen the right partner for its new Temerario. Bridgestone will be the exclusive tire partner of the latest super sports car. Featuring a V8 twin-turbo engine paired with three electric motors, this supercar is one of a kind in the brand's catalog by the way.
For its part, Bridgestone undertook the craft of a complete tire lineup to match the vehicle's demanding performance. The new tire line brings superior performance both on and off the track and in difficult winter conditions, as per Bridgestone.
The collaboration between the 2 reputable names is not a new one. Bridgestone has demonstrated its superior capabilities in creating tires that meet the performance demands of other previous Lamborghini supercars. These include the Sterrato, V12 Hybrid HPEV Lamborghini Revuelto, Huracán STO, and EVO. As such, Lamborghini's choice to take Bridgestone as the Official Technical Partner for the new Temerario is nothing more than proof of loyalty and confidence in its skills.
Therefore, Steven De Bock, VP of original equipment at Bridgestone EMEA, expressed his excitement to be part of the Temerario launch "which is part of a new generation of Hybrid HPEVs offering class-beating performance."
What To Expect?
Bridgestone brings Potenza Sport and Potenza Race tires to be at the height of the summer performance and track fitments of the new Temerario. The Potenza Sport model maximizes wet and dry handling and stands out for its high-speed performance. Bridgestone also offers it in a run-flat version for drivers looking for control in case of punctures. The tire line designed for Temerario will be available in eight dimensions ranging between 20-21'' sizes.
As for the Potenza Race, this tire line comes with a unique compound for track use, delivering handling and grip fitting the Temerario supercar demands.
The Temerario hybrid performance car is properly ready including for winter conditions. Bridgestone designed the Blizzak LM005 tire to meet all the standards of a hybrid supercar facing winter challenges.
The Lamborghini Temerario is set to launch in 2025. Bridgestone has prepared for it in its D&R center in Italy using Virtual Tire Development technology. As such, minimal prototypes have been used while maximum efficiency and sustainability have been gained during the process.
