Aeolus HN309 is an advanced open shoulder drive position tire. This model is built for commercial use to promote high performance when it comes to traction, grip, and mileage. It serves a wide range of 17.5-inch size trucks in regional and P&D services.
Above all, the HN309 comes with a durable compound molded into an optimized tread design. It presents five full traction ribs among which open shoulder blocks, as a result, these ensure superb traction. In addition, rectangle-shaped tread blocks with variable tread sipes improve the braking and traction, without compromising mileage. The HN309 has special groove geometry that offers good resistance to stone retention, preventing casing damage.
For safety reasons, it has a durable tread compound molded into a 20/32” deep tread pattern combined with four steel belts on tread face, cap, and base construction designed to ensure carrying ability and multiple retreads. It has four circumferential grooves combined with open lateral grooves. These grooves reduce the risk of hydroplaning by better water evacuation from under the tire footprint for excellent grip, and short braking distance.
