The Ecsta 4X II comes with an innovative all-season carbon compound molded into an asymmetrical tread pattern that presents an oversized footprint, for maximum road contact designed to provide excellent handling, extra cornering stability, and responsive steering at the same time. Due to computer-optimized design, the tire gained uniform wear, good braking, and increased traction even in all-season conditions.
For safety reasons, this model has four wide circumferential grooves combined with lateral grooves designed to remove water for high hydroplaning resistance and improved wet weather traction. One of the most highlighted innovations used by Kumho is ESCOT Casing Technology which optimizes sidewall cord tension distribution to promote steering response and tread life.
To guarantee more durability and strength Kumho uses a special internal structure that features twin steel belts reinforced with spirally wrapped nylon. The Ecsta 4X II is available from 15 to 18-inch sizes, backed by a 50,000 miles tread wear warranty.
