Kumho Ecsta PA31
This model is a directional all-season tire developed for owners of today’s high-performance vehicles especially for mid-level sports sedans and coupes to provide outstanding street performance, superb traction, responsive handling, and comfortable ride.
The Ecsta PA31 comes with an innovative all-season carbon compound molded into a directional tread pattern that presents high sipe density and tread block edges enhancing wet weather handling and excellent cornering stability, responsive steering even on snow-covered surfaces. Due to computer-optimized design, the tire gained uniform wear, responsive steering, cornering stability, and braking traction even in all-season conditions.
For safety reasons, this model has four main circumferential grooves combined with multiple cross grooves designed to expel water quickly to manage the risk of hydroplaning and improving wet weather traction. One of the most highlighted innovations used by Kumho is ESCOT Casing Technology that optimizes sidewall cord tension distribution to promote steering response and treadlife.
To guarantee more durability and strength Kumho uses a special internal structure that features twin steel belts reinforced with spirally wrapped nylon. The Ecsta PA31 is available from 15 to 18-inch sizes, backed by 50,000 miles tread wear warranty. It is used as a replacement tire for many models like BMW 128i, Chevy Cruze, Chrysler 200, Ford Focus, and many others.
