The Kumho Ecsta PS31 comes with an innovative summer tread compound featuring high dispersible micro-silica and high grip Resin to enhance dry and wet traction, handling responsiveness and even the road stability. This model presents a directional tread pattern combined with a solid center rib for improved high-speed stability and a 3D dimple design for more durability and a longer lifespan.
Computer-optimized lateral groove angles manage irregular wear while maximizing water displacement during wet-weather cornering. For safety reasons, Kumho Ecsta PS31 has four wide circumferential main grooves combined with diagonal-sipe microgrooves to evacuate water from the footprint for hydroplaning resistance.
To increase strength and durability Kumho Ecsta PS31 has special internal construction that presents a two-ply polyester casing beneath twin wide, steel belts and two full layer nylon cap plies. The Kumho Ecsta PS31 is available from 15 to 18-inch sizes, in V and W-speed rating.
