Kumho KMA02
This model is a quality steer tire developed especially for commercial use to provide improved stability, excellent casing durability, and increased wear performance. It was made with the purpose to be used on the vehicle’s steer axle for Mixed, Off-Road, and P&D applications.
This KMA02 comes with an advanced off-road tread compound molded into an aggressive tread design that presents an open shoulder design that migrates into a closed shoulder block joined by tie-bars designed to improve durability and removal mileage.
It has a wide and optimized footprint for better pressure distribution along the tread area. Due to the block stiffness and optimum contact patch, the tire shows outstanding shoulder rigidity and high performance when it comes to rolling resistance, braking, and wear.
For safety reasons this model has wide tread grooves designed to prevent stone drilling and stone retention but also to offer high aquaplaning resistance by dispersing water and slush from under the footprint, improving the year-round traction.
