Kumho KRD16
This model is a commercial all-season tire developed to provide maximum traction drive, road stability, and a quiet and comfortable ride experience. It was made with the purpose to be used on the vehicle’s drive axle.
This KRD16 comes with an innovative heat-resistant tread compound molded into an aggressive tread pattern that presents a 20/32” extra-deep tread workhorse pattern to provide outstanding traction and commercial performance. It has a strong casing profile and an optimized footprint for better pressure distribution along the tread area. Due to the multi-pitch tread pattern, the tire delivers a quiet and comfortable ride experience but also good fuel efficiency.
For safety reasons this model has a zigzag tread groove designed to prevent stone drilling and stone retention but also to increase the aquaplaning resistance by dispersing water and slush from under the tire contact patch, improving the year-round traction.
