Kumho KRS03
This model is an all-position rib commercial tire developed especially for small and medium-duty trucks to provide excellent steering stability, uniform tread wear, and maximum mileage over the life of the tire. It was made with the purpose to be used on the vehicle’s steering axle.
This KRS03 comes with an innovative all-season tread compound molded into a symmetrical tread design that presents lateral multi-sipes in the straight ribs designed to reduce the risk of irregular wear. The special S-shaped sipes in straight ribs come to improve hydroplaning resistance but also to increase commercial performance. Due to the symmetric tread pattern combined with variable geometry groove edges the tire gained better traction and less stone holding for more durability and safety.
For safety reasons this model has four longitudinal grooves designed to prevent stone drilling and stone retention but also to offer high aquaplaning resistance by dispersing water and slush from under the footprint, improving the all-season traction.
Kumho KRS03 model is available in 19.5 and 22.5-inch sizes backed by long-lasting treadwear being one of the best steer tire options for a wide range of trucks and commercial vehicles.
