This model is an On-/Off-Road All-Terrain light truck tire engineered for the owners of jeeps, pickup trucks, and SUVs who are looking for the best off-road performance. It combines rugged terrain with an all-season ride, delivers year-round traction in all terrains and all seasons, even in snow.
The Road Venture AT51 comes with advanced cut-resistant dual silica tread compound molded into an aggressive all-terrain tread design to provide extra strength and heat dispersal to enhance all-weather adherence and durability. It presents special shoulders designed to expel stones and dual-pitch, combined with zigzag center blocks for a stable contact area to promote dry handling and wet-braking.
For safety reasons, this model gained full-depth circumferential grooves combined with tread blocks designed to boost off-road grip, respectively to promote self-cleaning action for better traction in mud and snow.
To enhance off-road durability, strength, and highway stability the Kumho engineers use a special internal structure that features twin steel belts reinforced with spirally wrapped nylon. This tire is available from 15 to 20-inch sizes, being the best option for Jeep Grand Cherokee, Wrangler, Toyota Tundra, Ford Explorer, F-150, and other 4X4 vehicles.
