The Winguard Winspike WS62 comes with an advanced winter compound molded into a directional tread pattern that presents sipe and blocks rigidity in combination with the V-shaped tread pattern designed to maximize handling and grip on snowy and icy conditions. Thanks to special center rib block and spikes center area design the WS62 offers a more comfortable ride along with driving stability over the standard Winguard Winspike pattern.
For safety reasons, the tire has unique deep lateral and zigzag circumferential grooves designed to improve winter performance and increase the aquaplaning resistance by better water evacuation from under the tire footprint. The Nexen engineers use the latest technologies in the tire industry to improve traction performance on snow and ice and minimize stud noise, making the ride comfortable and quiet.
Inside the tire, there is special internal construction that includes two steel belts with spirally wrapped nylon designed to promote strength, durability, road stability, and safety. This model is available from 15 to 20-inch sizes with a T-speed rating, backed by Nexen Total Coverage Warranty.
