This model is one of the latest company’s studded winter tires, designed to serve a wide range of passenger vehicles like Acura ILX, Audi A3, A4, BMW 3-Series, VW Jetta, Toyota Corolla, and other models. It is designed to ensure superior grip, traction, handling, and braking performance in all-weather winter conditions.
Nokian Hakkapeliitta 9 is coming with an eco-friendly rubber compound combined with self-locking 3-D sipes and Green Elasto Proof bio-material to ensure low rolling resistance with more pliable tread especially in low temperatures. To increase durability and strength, Nokian engineers add an ultra-strong tensile steel belt construction.
An interesting thing about this model is that the tread comes with two types of studs: first supposes dedicated tailored studs on the center of the tread to ensure longitudinal grip and second- separate studs for shoulder areas to enhance lateral grip on ice and snow-covered roads.
This model is available from 14 to 20-inch sizes, with a limited tread warranty.
