The P Zero Rosso system has two types of tread design: asymmetric and directional. This feature can satisfy the needs of different types of vehicles and uses.
The Asimmetrico model is designed for front and rear axle positions of front-engine front-wheel drive and rear-wheel-drive cars. This model tread has a semi-slick center rib which helps to deliver enhanced driving precision in terms of accelerating and braking. Robust outer shoulder and intermediate tread blocks that are connected by circumferential "multi-ring" ribs to boost dry grip.
The Direzionale model is designed for use on the lighter load carrying front axle positions of mid-engine and rear-engine rear-wheel-drive cars. This design along with longitudinal grooves provides more safety in wet conditions and high cornering capability. Inside the tire, we can find the PenTec cord which is used to reinforce lightweight steel belts and offer more stability and safety at high-speed range.
