The Quatrac Pro comes with an innovative high-resin, high-silica tread compound molded into a variable condition-focused asymmetric tread pattern that presents inboard rib and inside shoulder designed to guarantee confident performance in wet and wintry conditions. The Vredestein engineers use high-density, winter-focused zigzag sipes to improve traction in both wet and snow conditions offering predictable and confident all-season traction.
For safety reasons, this model has four circumferential grooves combined with lateral notches engineered to maintain wet performance. The main role of deep circumferential grooves is to evacuate quicker water from under the tire footprint, while the sipes increase the number of biting edges for incredible wet traction. Due to the computer-optimized design, the tire presents a large contact area that promotes improved pressure distribution and extra grip, and year-round steering response.
To guarantee more durability and strength the engineers use an innovative internal structure that features a single-ply, polyester casing supporting two steel belts promoting high-speed stability and ride safety.
