This model is a commercial tire developed especially for long-haul use that provides excellent steering stability, uniform tread wear, and maximum mileage over the life of the tire.
The KLS02e comes with an advanced tread compound molded into a symmetrical tread design that presents five-rib combined with a multi-sipe tread pattern to provide outstanding performance when it comes to rolling resistance, braking, and handling.
One of the most highlighted innovations used by Kumho is SmartWay that means a special, low rolling resistance tread cap and base compounds designed to promote uniform wear by increased heat dissipation at the belt edge. Due to the dual tread design, the tire presents an optimized footprint shape and contact pressure for improved removal mileage.
For safety reasons this model has special groove bottom protectors designed to prevent stone drilling and stone retention, making the ride safer and comfortable. Four wide circumferential grooves offer high aquaplaning resistance for increased load safety.
