Kumho KLT12e
This model is a highway terrain, all-season tire developed especially for commercial use to provide excellent steering stability, uniform tread wear, and maximum mileage over the life of the tire. It was made with the purpose to be used on the vehicle’s trailer axle.
This KLT12e comes with an advanced all-season tread compound molded into a symmetrical ribbed tread design that presents a wear-resistant compound that increases the length of the tread life by preventing early tread wear. It has a decoupling groove and optimized footprint for better pressure distribution along the tread area. Due to the symmetric tread pattern, the tire gained outstanding performance when it comes to rolling resistance, braking, and wear. Detailed groove and siping placement increase the number of biting edges gripping the road surface to deliver extra adherence on wet roads.
For safety reasons this model has a special circumferential groove designed to prevent stone drilling and stone retention but also to offer high aquaplaning resistance by dispersing water and slush from under the footprint, improving the year-round traction.
