The RE050A has a high-performance tread compound that features L.L.Carbon improves wear resistance, to provide uniform wear and improved wet handling capabilities. This compound is molded into an asymmetric tread pattern and larger tread blocks designed to boost dry traction and cornering stability. The continuous center rib and hard reinforced sidewall support offer responsive steering and safety on the road.
For safety reasons, the Bridgestone uses wide circumferential and numerous lateral grooves around the tread to reduce aquaplaning resistance and to provide the best traction and handling response at the same time. To prevent damage to your wheels the engineers use a fabric cord body which is a rim protector designed to increase ride quality.
This model is available from 17-22 inches and speed ratings up to a Y.
