Continental ContiSportContact 2
This model is a Max Performance Summer tire developed especially for a wide range of powerful sports cars, sports coupes, and luxurious performance sedans. It shows a high performance when it comes to traction, braking, and handling. The ContiSportContact 2 comes with advanced bionic tread compound technology molded into an asymmetric design combined with continuous ribs designed to offer more steering response precision and extra stability on the road. In addition, ContiSportContact 2 presents continuous circumferential tread grooves between the ribs designed to remove water from under the tire footprint, thus increasing the hydroplaning resistance, and making the ride safer.
Inside the tread, we can find a special internal structure: Continental's Advanced Mold Contour, that allows the tire to become wider during braking making shortening stopping distances. The ContiSportContact 2 has twin steel belts reinforced by nylon designed to add durability, and strength, enhancing handling as well as high-speed capability. Best of all, this tire is available in a wide range of sizes with rim diameters from 17 to 20 inches. It is also backed by a limited tread warranty.
