Yokohama History 

The Yokohama Rubber Company simply known as Yokohama is a tire manufacturing company with headquarters in Tokyo, Japan. Yokohama was founded in 1917, as a result of the fusion between Yokohama Cable Manufacturing and B.F. Goodrich. Yokohama has two manufacturing facilities in the United States: the first in Salem and the second in West Point. 

Yokohama values a lot its partnerships that is why for a long time it is the official tire supplier of the IMSA GT3 Cup Challenge, Macau Grand Prix Formula 3 Intercontinental Cup race, and also the sponsor of the NBA team - Boston Celtics and the Premier League football club - Chelsea.
