Kumho KRA12
This model is a quality all-season tire developed especially for commercial use to provide excellent steering stability, uniform tread wear, and maximum mileage over the life of the tire. It was made with the purpose to be used on the vehicle’s steering axle.
This KRA12 comes with an innovative all-season tread compound molded into a symmetrical tread design that presents an aggressive 6-rib tread pattern with large, full depth tread sipes to provide increased mileage, adherence, and better traction.
Due to the symmetric tread pattern, the tire gained outstanding performance when it comes to rolling resistance, wear, and fuel economy. Detailed groove and siping placement increase the number of biting edges gripping the road surface to deliver extra adherence on wet roads.
For safety reasons this model has a cut and chip resistant tread pattern combined with special circumferential grooves designed to prevent road hazards and stone drilling and stone retention but also to offer high aquaplaning resistance by dispersing water and slush from under the footprint, improving the year-round traction.
