Bridgestone M726 ELA
It’s a drive position commercial tire developed to show performance in terms of long-lasting, traction, ride comfort, grip, and load/people safety. It is designed to be used in tandem-axle applications especially for long haul and regional haul applications.
The M726 ELA comes with a cap/base tread compound molded into an extra-wide five-rib tread pattern to promote excellent traction and overall performance. The Bridgestone engineers use an optimized footprint for better pressure distribution promoting uniform wear. Continuous shoulders distribute weight and torque uniformly to reduce irregular wear. Compared with the previous generation, this model provides a 5% improvement in rolling resistance and removal mileage.
For safety reasons, this model has a durable sidewall added to reduce tire weight, reducing rolling resistance offering extra resistance to cuts and other road hazards, even abrasions from curbing and braking. An important role has four-belt construction designed to promote additional resistance to punctures and cuts. It uses special tread grooves that guarantee high aquaplaning resistance by better water and slush evacuation from under the tire contact patch, improving the best performance in severe weather conditions.
Bridgestone M726 ELA is available in 22.5 and 24.5-inch sizes, with 26/32” and 32/32” tread depth, being one of the best drive position tire options for a wide range of commercial vehicles used in severe goods and people transportation.
