To ensure a controlled feel and responsive turn-in the Continental engineers use continuous center ribs.

SSR system- It is a run-flat technology developed by Continental that is based on a self-supporting reinforced sidewall. In case of a puncture, this prevents the sidewall from being crushed between the rim and the road.
For safety reasons, the Continental SportContact 6 presents deep, circumferential grooves and lateral notches designed to better water evacuation from the under the tire footprint thus increasing the risk of hydroplaning.
Inside the tread, we can find a two-ply rayon casing that supports two high-tensile steel belts. One of the most notable innovations used by Continental in the production of the model is the exclusive Aralon 350 hybrid cap ply that reinforces the steel belts and promotes tire shape at high speeds for improved stability and control.
