Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric SUV AT stands out with Goodyear's Racing Compound Technology which combines carbon black, silica, and a new generation of polymers. As a result, it delivers a great balance of powerful dry and wet traction, fuel economy, and tread stiffness.
Shaped into an asymmetric tread pattern with wide and solid outboard shoulders designed to enhance road traction. On the other side, a continuous center rib delivers straight stability while the open inboard tread pattern disperses efficient water. It works in tandem with special grooves to increase aquaplaning resistance, by removing water from under the tire footprint. Depending on the tire size selected, this model provides and resists up to 186 mph. It is ensured by a strong construction that includes twin steel belts reinforced with three layers of spirally wrapped polyamide cord. As a result, these enhance tread stability and safety at high speeds. In addition, Goodyear uses the latest Active Cornergrip Technology. Aramid reinforcement in the inboard sidewalls improves the weight and pressure distribution across the whole contact patch.
