Mastercraft is a sub-brand owned and operated by Cooper Tire. Mastercraft tires are designed for everyday performance. The main goal of this company is to produce affordable and quality tires but also to keep you safe and in control. Being a subsidiary of Cooper Tires, which has more than 100 years of experience in the tire industry, Mastercraft uses cutting edge technologies which make its products to be one of the leaders in the tire market.
One of the most highlighter technologies used by Cooper/Mastercraft engineers are:
Stabiledge Technology -ensure excellent stability on the road and better handling.
3D Micro Gauge™ Sipes- allow the tread blocks to interlock for maximum stability. Using this technology, the tire received increased traction, handling, and high safety features.
R-Tech Engineering -offers improved lateral stability, thus ensuring a comfortable ride.
The Mastercraft products include tires for all types of light trucks, SUVs, and passenger cars.
One of the most popular and suitable models for muscle trucks and SUVs is the Courser HTR Plus. This model comes to serve customer's needs ensuring reliable dry and wet traction, responsive handling, and a quieter ride. The Courser HTR Plus uses an all-season tread compound and asymmetric tread design with the purpose to increase traction on many types of surfaces but also to deliver excellent handling and high cornering stability. This model has four circumferential grooves designed to enhance grip on wet road surfaces but also to reduce the risk of hydroplaning. The HTR Plus is available from 18 to 20-inch sizes with all sizes carrying a T-speed rating.
The Mastercraft A/S IV is an all-season tire with a good quality-price ratio designed for customers’ needs. Mastercraft engineers use a special rubber compound and asymmetric tread pattern on the AS IV with the purpose to ensure lower rolling resistance thus increasing fuel efficiency and tire's lifespan. This model comes with four wide circumferential and numerous lateral grooves designed to reduce the risk of hydroplaning thus increasing grip on wet pavement. To reduce outside road noise the engineers use sized tread elements. This model is available from 13 to 16-inch sizes with 40,000 miles treadlife warranty.
