Pirelli Scorpion ATR

This model is an On-/Off-Road All-Terrain tire built for a wide range of pickups, crossovers, and SUVs drivers for whom off-road performance, safety, and ride comfort are the main priorities.

The Scorpion ATR is developed to oflong highway journeys, comfort, regardless of weather conditions. It has a silica-enhanced tread compound molded into a quiet, symmetric all-terrain tread pattern, for extra grip, confident traction, and more controllability. Due to continuous center rib and large, stable shoulder tread blocks the tire presents increased stability and steering response.

For safety reasons, the Pirelli adds sweeping central circumferential grooves and lateral shoulder grooves for better water dispersion under the tire footprint ensuring low hydroplaning risk thus enhance wet traction. To reduce road and interior noise engineers use interlocked independent tread blocks in the center tread area. Inside the tire, we can find a special twin steel belt construction reinforced with spirally wrapped nylon cord designed to provide superior handling at high-speed, while polyester cords enhance ride quality.

This model is used as Original Equipment on many MERCEDES-BENZ models. It is available in a wide range of sizes starting from 15 to 24-inch sizes backed by a 50,000 Miles warranty.
