This model is a high-quality drive position tire developed to show performance when it comes to demanding off-road applications offering increased traction, road stability, safety and grip performance in mixed service. It is designed to be mounted on ready mix trucks, logging trucks, dump trucks and refuse trucks.
The S917 comes with a cut and chunk tread compound molded into a multi-lug design to provide high additional stability and high traction performance. Due to the open tread pattern this model delivers outstanding performance in off-road and high-scrub applications. Sailun engineers use an optimized footprint for better pressure distribution offering uniform tread wear. Special tread design dissipates heat for longer tread life, but also provides powerful traction in off-road applications.
For safety reasons, this model has deep tread grooves that guarantee high aquaplaning resistance by better water and slush evacuation from under the tire contact patch, providing the best braking and traction performance in wet weather conditions.
