Vogue History

Vogue Tire and Rubber Co., simply known as Vogue Tire, is an American tire manufacturer founded in 1914 by Harry Hower. The American company is focused on the production of custom luxury tires, wheels, and car accessories. Vogue Tire made custom tires for professional sports players and movie celebrities like Garry Cooper, Marion Davies, Mervyn LeRoy, Dolores del Río, Snoop Dogg, Paul Whiteman, and Kid Rock.

Some notable events in Vogue history are: 

  • In 1942 - DODSON PURCHASES VOGUE

  • Between 1975 and 1980 was developed Vogue Super Aramid Radial Tires. This model uses material from bulletproof vests, to add extra strength for extra safety.

  • In 1980 was developed Vogue Custom Built Twin Tread Touring -model pushed the limit on traction with an extended treadwear mileage warranty of 40,000 miles.
