Yokohama Advan A055 presents an all new motorsport tread compound shaped into a symmetrical tread pattern. This compound provides a superior grip on dry tracks for extreme cornering, confident stops, and rapid acceleration. Special designed and alternating grooves increase the contact patch to increase dry performance on race circuits for superb lap time. Due to advanced motorsport construction, this model gained extra stiffness for controlled cornering. Moreover, it has a rounded tread profile that provides superb stability and steering performance in high speed cornering. Best of all, an advanced and optimized tread design reduces the need for shaving for less lose time and more laps.
Yokohama Advan A055 was produced for the US market in the following sizes 205/50 R15, 225/45 R16, 245/40 R17, 255/40 R17, 275/40 R17, 245/40R18, and 275/35R18. All of these come with W-speed ratings that resist up to 168mph. In conclusion, this model is one of the leader motorsport tires when it comes to competitive performance and lap times.
