This model is a premium summer tire developed to deliver some of the highest traction and cornering grip. It comes to meet the need of sport coupes, premium sedans, and luxury CUVs.
The Pilot Sport 3 has a new Green Power Compound and EnergySaver Construction molded into asymmetric tread pattern along with sports larger outside shoulder blocks and a continuous center rib designed to provide lower rolling resistance, high fuel efficiency, increased handling, and longer tread life.
Due to advanced technologies used by French engineers in the production of this tire, the Pilot Sport 3 shows high performance when it comes to precise steering response, wet grip, and braking characteristics. For safety reasons, the tread is combined with Anti SurfSystem technology designed to optimize its profile and tread grooves for enhanced wet pavement performance and increased hydroplane resistance. Wide circumferential and lateral grooves provide high hydroplaning resistance along with the best wet traction performance.
This model has a special internal structure that includes twin steel belts reinforced by spirally wrapped polyamide on top of a polyester cord casing to ensure strength, efficiency, comfort, strength, and high-speed durability as well. The Michelin Energy Saver is available in a wide range of sizes. All sizes come with a Y-speed rating, backed by 6 years of standard limited warranty, or 20,000 miles tread life.
