Michelin Pilot Super Sport
This model is Michelin's Max Performance Summer tire introduced as Original Equipment on several of the world's most powerful vehicles, from the Ferrari lineup. It was built especially for drivers for whom the vehicle's performance, safety, durability, responsive handling, and traction are the main priorities.
When we talk about most maximum performance summer tires most tend to wear out after 15,000-20,000 miles, but not the Pilot Super Sport that claims to last up to twice as long as other competitor models. This thing is due to Variable Contact Patch 2.0 technology and a unique Twaron belt. It is a super-strong polyamide cord and much lighter weight to manage the forces of high-speed driving. For extra durability and strength inside the tread, we can find dual steel belts that are spirally wound with a Twaron cord.
The Michelin Pilot Super Sport has four special tread grooves designed to reduce the risk of hydroplaning. This model is available in wide sizes ranging from 17 to 22 inches, and all sizes sport a Y-speed rating, backed by a 30,000-mile tread warranty.
