The Primacy Tour A/S has an advanced all-season tread compound molded into an asymmetric five-rib tread pattern to ensure the refined, quiet ride expected of a luxury touring tire. It presents wide outboard shoulder blocks along with zig-zag sipes in the center and inboard ribs, as well as the inside shoulder to improve handling and lateral grip, and water evacuation for hydroplaning resistance.
The ComfortControl with Piano Noise Reduction Tuning combines frequency cancelling shoulder grooves and block chamfers with ultra smooth belts. Compared with Michelin Primacy MXM4, this model shows 17% better snow traction due to the latest generation of advanced rubber compounds maintaining tread block flexibility in cold temperatures.
This model has a special internal structure that includes twin steel belts reinforced by spiral-wrapped polyamide cord that stabilizes the tread area to ensure strength, efficiency, comfort, and high-speed durability as well. The Michelin Primacy Tour A/S is available in 17 to 22-inch sizes, backed by 6 years of standard limited warranty, or up to 55,000 miles tread life.
