This model is an affordable touring tire developed for a wide range of smaller coupes and sedans to provide reliability, comfort, and improved tread life.
The CX668 comes with a trustworthy all-season compound molded into an optimized tread design that presents five ribs with special shoulders design developed to promote improved weight dispersion, by preventing uneven wear, offering road stability, traction, quiet and comfortable ride as well. Solid center rib with special sipes on it, promotes responsive handling and more straight-line stability. Special tread design with innovative tread block arrangement and heat-resistant shoulders offers more contact patch and additional wear. It uses an all-season tread that guarantees more tread flexibility in low temperatures for optimal grip during winter.
This model offers a comfortable and quiet ride, thanks to unique silent grooves engineered to minimize the road noise and vibration. Four wide and deep circumferential grooves and lateral grooves combined with special sipes on each tread block promote high aquaplaning resistance by better water/slush evacuation from under the tire footprint for additional vehicle control in both wet and dry conditions.
